A heartfelt shout-out goes to Mrs. Deal and Ms. Kalinowski, two remarkable teachers who have made my 8th-grade year an absolute joy. These exceptional educators have truly shown what it means to be a teacher, going beyond mere instruction to create an engaging, supportive, and inspiring learning environment. They care deeply about their students, celebrating achievements and growth while teaching us that anything is possible with dedication and perseverance. I am eternally grateful to have been under the guidance of such compassionate and empowering teachers.

Emma Kalinowski and Scott Eckert

I want to express my gratitude for both teachers who explained things in a way I could really understand. I’m very thankful for them! Emma Kalinowski is funny and kind, and I really love her class. I'm going to miss her bright, happy spirit. Scott Eckert is upbeat, funny, and motivational. He was so confident and happy even when he lost his kittens/cat.

I choose Mrs. Kindig and Ms. Kalinowski because they are both fun teachers and helped me a lot this year. They did many fun things to make the school year better and more enjoyable for us.

I have fun in Ms. Kalinowski’s class; we do many activities and engage with one another. In Ms. Deal's class, we learn a lot and do fun stuff at the beginning of class. I love Ms. Kalinowski’s class because the assignment about Romeo and Juliet was fun, and she is really sweet. I also really like Ms. Deal’s class because I think science is fun, and every assignment has been enjoyable or easy; Mrs. Deal is very nice.

I loved all my teachers this year, but I'd like to show the most thanks to Ms. Kalinowski and Ms. Deal. These two lovely ladies made online school both extremely fun and insightful. At the beginning of the year, I was worried that it would be harder to learn through a screen. However, Ms. Kalinowski and Ms. Deal presented the material in a way that made it interesting and valuable.

I recognize Ms. Deal and Ms. Kalinowski for not rushing students and allowing them time to work and ask questions.

 I shout out Ms. Kalinowski and Ms. Deal! They made the assignments and lessons more fun by adding their own twists! I also thank Mrs. Kindig for always being able to help me when I need it and Ms. Kalinowski for being a fun teacher.

I want to thank Mr. Eckert for his patience and for teaching me almost everything. Before coming to HCCA, I struggled in math and couldn't comprehend the fast pace. As soon as I arrived, everything clicked, and now I excel and enjoy math. He takes the time to help students individually, which is rare. Another teacher I deeply appreciate is Ms. Kalinowski. She has helped me read better, overcome my fear of public speaking, and made every class fun, entertaining, and easy to focus on. I have learned so much from her and enjoyed every class. Mrs. Deal deserves applause for her professionalism. When I had a serious issue with another student, she handled it privately while making me feel safe and comfortable. Lastly, I thank Mr. Jones and Ms. Crist (my GSA teacher) for their bubbly and kind personalities, making every session a safe and fun place to be.

I would like to recognize Ms. Kalinowski and Mrs. Deal for always giving us time to finish our assignments. They put smiles on many faces and make their classes something to look forward to.

I would like to shout out Mr. Eckert for encouraging us to do our best in class and Ms. Kalinowski for always bringing energy to the classroom. I also shout out Mr. Jones and Mrs. Deal for being amazing teachers. Mrs. Deal taught me a lot about science; I really enjoyed her class.

I would like to thank Mrs. Deal and Ms. Kalinowski for always being ready to help anyone and answer questions. They are some of the most patient and engaged teachers I've had in my eight years of schooling. I truly appreciate their efforts and passion for their jobs.

I'm thankful for each teacher; they have been consistent and helpful, shaping me into a better student! All my teachers were funny, making school more exciting and the day less boring.

I’m grateful to Ms. Kalinowski for making class fun and Mr. Eckert for giving clear lessons. Ms. Kalinowski brings happiness and is full of sunshine. I love that Ms. Deal always starts each class with a "find it," which gets me ready for the day. I'm thankful for both of them for giving their time to teach.

Ms. Kalinowski and Mr. Eckert were very helpful to me this year. I enjoyed both classes and always looked forward to speaking on the mic. Mr. Brian never gives too much work, and Ms. Kalinowski (sorry for the spelling) is very involved and ensures every student is on task.

Mr. Jones made me feel welcomed when I came from my other school, and I appreciate Ms. Kalinowski for being "swag." Mr. Brian never gives a huge workload, and Ms. Kalinowski makes sure every student stays on task.

Mr. Eckert helped me a lot with my learning. I'm not great with math, but his kindness made a difference. Ms. Kalinowski is a fun teacher, and I enjoy English as a subject.

Mr. Eckert and Ms. Kalinowski helped me throughout the year. I always enjoy talking on the mic and look forward to their classes. I’m really going to miss them! Mr. Eckert has a great sense of humor, and Ms. Kalinowski makes me enjoy English.

Thankful for all my teachers. I really appreciate them. The two teachers I’d like to shout out are Ms. Kalinowski and Mr. Jones; they are amazing people.

To Mr. Eckert: Thank you for your jokes and for making math fun. I know I could always have a good laugh in your class.
